Everyone knows this story. There is everything. A magnificent ship lost beacause a fatal twist of events, human arrogance confronted with the power of nature, heroism confronted with cowardice and dozens of unanswered questions. Especially one.
What would you do if you were put on their place?
Remember quite clearly when I've first read about Titanic. Since then I've been into the history of the ship. Later I became interested about other ocean liners, also about Olympic which was a much more lucky sistership of Titanic.
This animation is again nothing special but since I spent most of Sunday doing this I hope that the final effect is at least gratifying. Drawing was much more time consuming than animating. I used an old photo as a main reference. However, Ken Marshall's painting was helpful, to get right colors, as well as great drawing made by

This kind of gives me nostalgia. I remember being obsessed with this ship when I was younger. It's like going back to the past.
