The more I work with Flash, the more I notice a disturbing side effect. Not only I almost stopped doing traditional art. I almost don't draw anything apart from vector. Even when I find an interesting photo, which can be used as a refence, my first thought is how to draw it in Flash.
Now I'm in the process of drawing the new part of Meet the Nazgul in vector and so far the result is so satisfying that I'll probably completely switch from drawing it traditionally. First of all I like the simplicity of clean black and white drawings - and I really never could achieve it while drawing the comic by hand. Now I can put various parts of the picture on different layers, move it or scale when something doesn't fit. What's more the posibillity of creating a base of elements which I can use later to create next parts of the comic is very tempting.
As for the question in my previous poll, it took around 10-12 hours to make the animation The Panther and the Ladybug. Actually drawing all of the elements (especially all of the plants) was much more time consuming than animating the characters.
